Ingredients
  

  • For the Steak
  • 4 oz steak
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp smoked paprika
  • For the Avocado Tomato Salad
  • ½ avocado, sliced
  • 1 cup tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley or cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tsp fresh lemon or lime juice
  • Salt & black pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Pat the steak dry and season both sides with salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the steak and cook for 3–5 minutes per side, depending on thickness and preferred doneness.
  4. During the final minute, add the minced garlic and spoon the garlic-infused oil over the steak.
  5. Remove from heat, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and let the steak rest for 5 minutes.
  6. Combine avocado and tomatoes with lemon or lime juice, herbs, salt, and black pepper.
  7. Serve the warm steak alongside the fresh avocado tomato salad.
